Watching you, Watching Me SOLD

We try to get to Scotland at least once a year, and while we are there we always spend time tracking and watching otters.  They are nearly always active and so a very rewarding wildlife subject to observe and portray in art. The young otter you see here, had been feeding with its mum in the kelp just in front of us (we were perched quietly on some rocks)  for around 20 minutes, when they were temporarily separated.  I’m still not quite sure what the youngster wanted from us – but it started whistling at us in a slightly concerned way until it found its way back to its mum.  A magical experience though.
