Inspiration
I have many physalis flowers in my garden. They add a huge burst of orange/red colour in the autumn and then over the winter the skins break down and you are left with a wonderful, lacy framework or “skeleton” of the original flower, which holds an orange seed! Beautiful in their own right. I love them (although I have to admit they are a bit of a thug in my garden). This linoprint took me many hours of careful cutting and printing and I am really pleased with the result.

I have labelled this print a “Varied Print” (vp) as I do intend to print the image on some different papers, but the plates will remain the same.
