Inspiration
Seasalter, on the north Kent coast in south east England, is a wide shallow, mainly stoney, beach, and when the tide is out, the beach is left with puddles of seawater dotted between banks of sand. On this cold but clear winters day the pools of seawater left behind by the retreating tide reflected the beautiful pastel colours of the sunset. As the sun was low in the sky the contrast between the reflective water, the remains of some old wooden groynes, and the sandy banks was striking.

About the Painting
This seascape is acrylic on mountboard. The price is for the painting unframed, ready for you to provide your own frame, but I have shown a low resolution photo of the painting in a “virtual” frame, just to give an idea of what the painting might look like mounted and framed.
